At Movo, we believe you should have full control over your data. You can delete all your personal information at any time -- no questions asked, no strings attached.

How to Delete Your Data

In-App Delete (Fastest)

Open Movo and go to Settings → Delete All Data. Confirm the deletion and all your data will be permanently removed instantly.

  • Food logs and scan history
  • Pantry items
  • Nutrition goals
  • Favorite recipes
  • Subscription records
  • Notifications

Email Request

Send an email to delete@movo.ai from your registered email address. We will process your deletion request within 48 hours.

Delete Account

To delete your entire account (including authentication credentials), email delete@movo.ai with the subject line "Delete My Account". We will permanently remove all associated data and you will not be able to recover it.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your data, we remove:

Deleted
  • Food scan logs and nutrition data
  • Pantry inventory
  • Nutrition goals and targets
  • Favorite recipes
  • Meal plans and grocery lists
  • Weight and water intake logs
  • Notification preferences
  • Subscription records
Already Not Stored
  • Food photos (deleted after AI analysis)
  • Camera roll access (never had it)
  • Raw biometric data
  • Location data

GDPR and CCPA Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to:

  • Rectification -- Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure -- Request complete deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability -- Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection -- Object to processing of your personal data
