End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Agreement to License

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Movo ("we," "our," or "us") for the use of the Movo mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

2. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the App on your personal mobile device(s)
  • Use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Access and use the features available under your subscription tier

3. Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion thereof
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the App for commercial purposes without our written consent
  • Transfer or sublicense your license to any third party
  • Use the App to develop a competing product or service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

Movo offers a free tier with limited features (5 scans/day, 3 recipes, 5 AI chats). No payment is required for free tier usage.

4.2 Premium Subscriptions

  • Pro Monthly: $9.99/month with a 7-day free trial
  • Pro Yearly: $79.99/year with a 7-day free trial

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payments are processed by the respective store. You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your store account settings.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the applicable app store's refund policy. Please contact Apple or Google directly for refund requests.

5. AI-Generated Content

Movo uses artificial intelligence to generate nutrition data, recipes, and coaching insights. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only
  • AI-generated content is NOT medical or dietary advice
  • You should consult a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes
  • We are not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including all intellectual property rights therein, is and remains our exclusive property. This Agreement does not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or brand names.

User-generated content (recipes, meal plans, etc.) remains your property, but you grant us a limited license to process and display it within the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We disclaim all warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-generated content.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, USE, PROFITS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim arising from this Agreement or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Health Disclaimer

Movo is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice. The App is designed for general wellness and nutrition tracking purposes only. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your diet, exercise, or health regimen.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license at any time if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.
