1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Movo application ("App"), website, and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Movo. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or share through the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and must ensure it does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

6. AI Services Disclaimer

The Service includes AI-powered features (food scanning, recipe generation, coaching). You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • The Service does NOT provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice
  • Always consult a qualified professional before making health-related decisions
  • We are not responsible for any consequences of relying on AI-generated content

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Premium features require a paid subscription. Billing is handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Movo and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOVO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Movo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
